Memorial Mass for G.I. Gurdjieff

On 29 October 2021, I said a Memorial Mass for G.I. Gurdjieff. I used the old Latin Missal, and said what is often called the “Tridentine Mass.” I used the Missal previous to the 1962 Missal, as that had an anniversary Mass, which is more precisely what I wished to celebrate. Despite my inadequacies – quite clear in the video – it was for me a powerful experience. The traditional Latin Requiem was extraordinary – irreplaceable and unique. The subtitles for the prayers and readings are posted in both Latin and English.

  1. It was a pleasent surprise to see a legomonism in the form of the Tridentine Rite Requim Mass for Gurdjieff that you celebrated. The fact that it is in Latin gives the original vibration and points to an inner meaning which may work on others. Thanks for the video with an English translation.
