Porn Suicide

This matter is quite sad, almost heart-breaking. Read the material at these links. It speaks for itself.

I did not immediately post them when I first read of them, because I felt that there was something I could not quite put my finger on. But I think I can now articulate it: I suspect that those around this poor woman who suicided, those in the porn “industry”, probably treated this woman’s life as cheap because she was in the business of stripping and indulging in sexual acts for pay, knowing that they would be made publicly available and could never be recalled. I am sure that if you asked these people they would say they appreciated her and even felt for her. But I do not believe it: if they had, they would not have treated her the way they did.
