The First Post War Groups in London

This post is mainly of historical value. It is not directly related to the inner work.

I am sorting through my papers, and I located a portfolio which Mr Adie had owned. Tucked inside it were four sheets of paper, each of about half an A8 sheet. They seem to be the group lists from before Madame Lannes was in London. They are undated.

The first one, headed “Responsable – Jane Heap” has a spelling error. It should be “Responsible.”

Then follow eight names:

  1. Jane Heap
  2. Dr Walker
  3. Mr Wolton
  4. Mr Hoare
  5. Mr Adie
  6. Mrs Pearce
  7. Mr Bennett
  8. Alfred

Was “Alfred” Alfred Etievant?

The second one is:

“Responsables (sic) – Dr Walker, Mr Wolton, Mr Hoare

  1. Mrs Adie
  2. Mrs Hoare
  3. Mrs Philp
  4. Mrs Mills
  5. Mr Juer
  6. Mrs Juer
  7. Mr Tilley
  8. Mrs Tilley
  9. Mr Healey
  10. Mrs Healey
  11. Mrs Jennings
  12. Miss Densham
  13. Mrs Wolton
  14. Mme Sofonova
  15. Mr Nickalls
  16. Mrs Nickalls
  17. Mrs Harbord
  18. Mr Philip Cornish
  19. Mrs Walker
  20. Mrs Holt

The Third “Responsable – ” (no name)

  1. Mrs v. Harten
  2. Miss Marston
  3. Mr Thorburn
  4. Miss Sparger
  5. Mrs Mathers
  6. Miss Hands
  7. Mr Thompson
  8. Mrs Thompson
  9. Miss Alexander
  10. Dr Bell
  11. Dr B. Courtney Meyers
  12. Mrs Ratnasuriya
  13. Mme de Biossieu
  14. Mr Desselle
  15. Mr Harold Story
  16. Mr Roland Kenny
  17. Mr King
  18. Mrs King
  19. Mr Holt

The final one has no heading

  1. Marcelle
  2. Miss Field
  3. Miss Murphy
  4. Miss Marjorie Gordon
  5. Miss Anne Bennett
  6. Mrs Spragge
  7. Mrs Travers
  8. Miss Colebrook
  9. Louba
  10. Mr Stuart
  11. Mrs Stuart

I will not offer any interpretation right now.
