I failed to spot some errors and lapses in the drafts of J.G. Bennett: Witness to Death and Resurrection.
First, the reference to Moore (2005) was omitted from the bibliography. It is his Gurdjieffian Confessions. Published by Gurdjieff Studies Ltd., 2005, ISBN 10:0954947002.
Page 73, footnote 20. This footnote is obsolete. Rather than have an appendix 5, I placed the material in the text.
Page 158, three quarters of the way down the page, should be “acted differently.”
Page 165, three quarters of the way down the page, should be “title page reads:”
Page 187, line 3, should be “nor was any record …”
Page 191, two thirds of the way down the page, should be “Bennett writes that …”
Page 240, half way down the page, should be “if we begin to struggle”
Page 264, two thirds of the way down the page, there should be inverted commas, after the footnote number 54.
Page 296, two thirds of the way down the page, should be “This occasion was for me an end …”
Page 303, one third of the way down the page, should be “uses the concept …”
Page 327, two thirds of the way down the page should be “able to locate” not “unable to locate”
Page 344, nine tenths of the way down the page, add an s so that it reads “Bennett’s attitude …”
Page 355, line 5 should be “these comments show” not “shows”
Page 356, half way down, should be “egged on” not “edged on”
Page 358, fourth line, should be: “If we take the numbers” not “Were we take …”
Page 362, not 7, add the word “life” so that it reads “healthy life.”
Page 371, third line from the top of the page should be “some restraint is” not “some restraint it …”
Page 374, one quarter of the way down the page remove one “change” so that it reads “his way of showing the exercises changed …” And at the end of that paragraph, add a “he” so that it reads “As he did, he would regard …”
Page 409, half way down, “similar to a a child” not “similar to child”
Page 445, fourth line from top, should be ” as soon as the king filled it with the gold, it (the gold) disappeared.”
